Tout es possible avec Le Seigneur, December 3, 2012

So I am giving you a fair warning that this is going to be super short.

Its been another good week. I have loved serving with Sister Nish and was sad to see it come to and end. It was one of my favorite transfers by far in my mission.

So I am still in Grenoble, which means I will be at the Lala Hariniaina's for christmas and that I love my life. I am serving with SOEUR KLINGAMAN. If you dont remember who that is, she was my companion in the MTC. .

Unfortunately I do not really want to write more. I will explain why. Today, just a couple hours ago, right when we got back from Lyon a member died. He was at the church and a recent convert found him when he was going to set up for FHE tonight. There are not sure yet what happened to him but they think it might have been a heart attack since he was not very old and he was in great health. He would ride his bike everywhere, he always had a smile on his face, always so willing to help, and he had such a strong testimony. This has come to a shock for everyone and even though I understand he is in a better place and everything happens according to Gods plan, I still think about the fact that I just saw him yesterday being his happy normal self and the fact that the Elders were talking to him when we were on the train to Lyon this morning. Please pray for the family Martins, his family, and for our ward here in Grenoble. He will be greatly missed.

I am going to leave you with a quote that I like from this week from my studies. It is from President Eyrings talk in RS General Conference. He says, "As you keep the fait, you will find yourself invited by the Lord often to serve someone in need when it will not seem convenient. It may appear to be an unpleasant and perhaps even impossible task. When the call comes, it may seem you are not needed or that someone else could easily give the succor." I just loved that this week as I saw it become relevant for my life.

I hope you all have a great week. I love you very much. Be greatful for your life and your loved ones. You really never know when they will part.

love,
Sister Addis
