I fainted on a bus. Yup. You heard me correctly. FAINTED ON A BUS IN SWITZERLAND. Luckily I was sitting down, and right next to my companion, and no one else was on the bus. But yes that adds to my list of places I have fainted and I think if I counted correctly, it makes 12 times in the past 7 years. I know you are probably dying to know what I saw or what I read or what sick story she told me, so i will explain.
We were traveling home on the bus to go eat lunch when I started talking about how sweet Sr. Lala was to have taken care of me my first night in the field, when i kept throwing up. Sr. Echols then said how its funny as women we love to take care of people and then proceeded to tell me a story. She was talking about one of her friends from Utah that has diabetes, and i guess pretty bad. She said that one time she went over to his house and was having to take care of him and stab him with his shot so that he would not die. I didnt think anything of it and was asking questions about insulin and whatever else. Then it started getting really hot in the bus and I felt kind of woosy. Well then I knew what was coming. I told her that I was going to faint and that she needed to talk to me about something else. Well by then it was too late, I was losing it. I slid down in my chair a little bit and fainted. Right before i fainted i had looked out the window to see where we were, this bus stop Bel-Air. Well about 30 seconds later i woke up to Sr. Echols trying to talk to me and say what we were going to do when we got home. I was startled because I, as always, thought i was waking up after a good nights rest. Well no, we were one bus stop later and apparently I wasnt out very long. Just long enough for me to make weird sounds and then twitch in my companions arms. It was quite the expereince. One that she will always remember. Fortunately she is studying to be a nurse so this was just preparing her for the future. Anyway, I still got it fam. I still faint when I hear stories about medical things. Hopefully that will be the seul time when i will faint on my mission.
So that was the big news of the week. Other little things i want to say are one that Lausanne is the Olympic Captial of the World. Isnt that cool?! There is a museum here and a park and a stadium and all this cool stuff. Sadly the museum isnt open right now because it is being renovated until 2013, so looks like I will just have to come back another time to see it.
Another thing I have been wanting to tell you is that when i get home i want to learn how to sail. For some reason I have ever since i got into the MTC and it is just fortified here. There are so many sail boats and little harbors and I just get so happy every time i see them. So yes. If someone wants to join me in that, plan on it, next summer, okay? Another thing is that last week a bird pooped on my shoulder while we were street boarding at a port. It was on the right shoulder. Someone should tell me that it was good luck or something because it was kind of gross.
Any way. Life is good. The weather has been pretty good. Not too too hot but hot enough to give me a baby tan. And its super funny because i have a strip that is not tan because my bag goes across my chest. Thank goodness I only have one summer of awful tan lines.! (:
We got a new ami this week. She is a miracle and is totally elect. I will talk more about her next week because I am out of time. I love you alot. Tried to send pictures but its not working. The castle was pretty awesome last week. Will be going to chocolate factory next week.
I love you all. Be good and do whats right. I asked mom to write me a written letter last week and she didnt so if someone else wants to write me a hand written letter that would be cool. They are really cherished :)
Until next week.

Forgiveness is a Coupon to Heaven
from email dated July 9, 2012
HHEEEELLLLLLOOOOO (Mrs. Doubtfire voice)
How are you my sweet, sweet family? I am doing well. It has been a good week. We have interviews with President Roney and it was great. I learned so much from him already. I know that he is truly inspired and that he is meant to be the mission President for the France Lyon Mission at this very time. We also obviously met his wife and four of their children, out of 8. Three will be staying with them the whole time and then their other son that is here will be going back to Utah in a couple weeks, to BYU. They have a daughter on a mission in Paris, and a son in the MTC who will be going to the Barcelona mission. Kind of funny that they are in bordering missions to their parents! Hopefully if I already told you that. So, I hate to admit it but I was kind of nervous to meet this big CEO/ Founder of NuSkin. But he is wonderful. He has so much love for this work, for his family, and for the Lord. He will be a great President for our mission.
He taught us something that I just love, well many things but something I want to share. Its the subject line of this email. He was talking about loving others and the importance of it. And then he was talking about forgiveness. And he said that we should be HAPPY when someone does something wrong towards us because that gives us the opportunity to forgive them. And when we forgive others the Lord is going to forgive us. He said that when someone does something bad that it is great because its like they are giving us a coupon to heaven. But it is so essential that we truly forgive and do not hold grudges and things like that or else the Lord will not be able to forgive us! Don't you just love that! I want all of your to remember this when someone does something unforgiveable against you. And then I want you to forgive them, because the bigger the crime, the bigger chance you have of getting into Heaven. You know what i mean? Super cool. It was a wonderful and uplifting time with the Roneys and the other missionaries. I always LOVE being around other missionaries. It just brings such happiness.
Now for the rest of my week. It was good. We still dont have any one new to work with and continue to try to find people. As President Murdock would say, they are hiding in the nooks and crannies, or the holes in the rocks. The elect are there! I know it, if not there would not be missionaries here to do this work. So therefore, I will continue to work to find these people!
Today we are going to a castle. Pretty cool. They have a lot of them here. Well maybe not a lot but more than Geneva. I will have to send pictures next week. My camera broke in the part that connects the usb to the computer so I have to put my memory card into Sr. Echols camera in order to load stuff onto the computer. Plus I dont have any new pictures for this week. Well maybe I do from conference but those will just have to wait.
Something that I loved from my studies this week was going through my patriarchial blessing and listing the promises, admonitions and warnings. EVERYONE DO THIS. You will see just how blessed you really are. Its super awesome. I just kept listing more and more promises and blessings it was so cool.
I should be going but I love you all and wish you a wonderful week. Keep calm and carry on!

P.S. I was studying the Holy Ghost and the gift of the Holy Ghost also this week, you should try it. Its cool to find out things we never knew about this great gift God has given us.

I saw that quote on an ad today while I was sitting on the bus. I liked it, so I used it.
Well family. Its been yet another week. And I dont know if anyone likes to count like I do, but today is my 8 months as a missionary. Crazy I know. Sometimes it feels like its been two months and sometimes it feels like I will never come home. But don't you worry your little heart. I will be home soon. I know you all miss me and wish that I was there, but the Lord needs me here. :) So to the next ten months it is!
So about my week. It was okay. It has been super hot and we get really sticky and sweaty and then I tend to get grumpy. I am very grateful I only have one summer in the mission. I did buy however two long thin cotton dresses and a skirt. They have been helping with the heat. I have to finish hemming the dresses because they are too long but once I do that it will be a go for sure. I hope they last because I really like them and want to wear them when I get home but who knows. Like I said they are thin so they might wear quickly. Luckily, we had some good rain yesterday that cooled it down a lot. Like a lot, alot. I dont know what the temperature is in F but in c it was 35 degrees and now it is down to like 22. So its a little cold, but I would rather be cold then hot and sticky and sweaty. Not freezing but you know what I mean.
Anyway, it was a good week. Not too much happened. We are doing a lot of finding and not seeing much success. But we will continue because we know there is someone here. We have two amis but one we never see, only on sundays at church, then the other is an African, Victor, and he is slowly progressing. We will see what happens. I personally have a desire to work with the ward. Gex was such a great ward and they were all so warm and friendly, as mom saw when the member from Gex called and said hello. I just want this ward to have the desire to help the missionaries and do missionary work. I really hope that Princeton 1st ward loves the missionaires and is treating them well. Missionaries CANNOT do this work without the members. So yes, we are going around trying to see all the members and giving service and things like that. So far so good. Something I am trying to focus on that I was told by another sister, is that sometimes we need to try to stop talking about Jesus and start acting like Jesus. It has given me a greater perspective and I hope it does for you as well.
Now Caroline dont think I forgot about you and your birthday tomorrow. HAPPY BIRTHDAY. Again, I suck and didnt send you something fast enough but I will be sending it today.
This week I dont seem to have much to say. I hope all is well and that everyones lives are good. I miss you all a lot and cant wait to see you again.
Love, Kimberly
